Find Your Rudraksha

Filter by the planet you want to strengthen – usually your Ascendant lord or the planet whose dasha is running.

What Is a Rudraksha?

A Rudraksha is the dried seed of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, which grows at certain heights in the mountains – mainly the Himalayas, with some trees in Nepal, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Western Ghats of South India. Seeds from the Himalayas are considered the finest, because of the soil and climate there. The name means “the tears of Rudra” (Lord Shiva).

Each bead carries natural vertical lines called mukhis (faces). The number of faces decides which deity and planet the bead belongs to, and therefore what it helps with. Interestingly, smaller beads are said to carry a stronger vibration than larger ones.

Benefits of Wearing Rudraksha

Protection

A shield of personal energy

Rudraksha is traditionally worn by sadhus who travel constantly. It helps the body settle in new places, supports restful sleep and keeps negative energy away.

Mind

Calm and focus

Worn close to the heart, it is believed to steady the mind, reduce stress and improve concentration in study, work and meditation.

Astrology

A remedy for planets

Each mukhi strengthens its ruling planet, making Rudraksha a gentle alternative or companion to gemstones.

Safety

No known side effects

Unlike a wrongly chosen gemstone, Rudraksha is not known to cause harm, so it can be worn by anyone.

How to Choose the Right Bead

1By your Ascendant

The bead of your Lagna lord supports health, confidence and overall success – the safest everyday choice.

2By your running dasha

During a difficult Mahadasha or Antardasha, the bead of that planet softens its effects.

3By your goal

Choose by purpose – for example 2 Mukhi or Gauri Shankar for relationships, 7 Mukhi for wealth, 4 Mukhi for learning.
